about me…

I’m currently a PhD student and Graduate Part-Time Instructor in the College of Media, Communication, and Information (CMCI) at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Formerly trained as a linguist when I received my MA in Linguistics at CU Boulder, I’m an interdisciplinary scholar of language and social interaction. In my research, I utilize Critical Race Discourse Analysis, Discourse Analysis, and Conversation Analysis to explore race/ism, identity, and power in mundane and institutional settings.
